“I’m going to go to bed,” you say to yourself as you climb into bed, slightly sleepy, but not really. It’s 9:00 pm.
You’re still awake. The glow of your phone illuminates as you realize your alarm will go off in a couple of hours. What’s going on? How are you supposed to wake up to the early rays of sunshine happy, healthy, and ready to take on the day?
Let’s rewind a couple of hours earlier, examine your surroundings, and make your next night better:
What time is it? For a healthy night’s rest, you should be getting 7-9 full hours of sleep! When are you set to wake up? 6:30 am? Work towards getting in bed and to sleep at or before 10:30 pm!
A cluttered bedroom makes for a cluttered mind. Zen, right? It’s weird, but it’s true! Prep yourself for a great night's sleep by putting your bedroom in order. We know, we know, where is the time in the day to do so? Start small. Do you see some coats piled up in the corner of your room? Hang a couple up!
