Mornings, With Confidence
Too often, our alarm rings at 5:30 am and our hands immediately slam the “snooze” button. Two hours later, we find ourselves struggling to get dressed, juggling our DIY Dry Shampoo, and reaching for our breakfast and coffee. We’re rushed, frazzled, and frankly, we’re not in the mood.
Not today, guys and gals. And not this week, or any week after that! We’re taking back our mornings and making them our own over here - because we know that the beginning of today always sets the tone for tomorrow.
Here are three (3) simple tweaks that will make your mornings better than ever:
Let that natural light shine:
Waking up to natural light is a soft, gentle way to let your body ready itself for the moments ahead.
Switch up that alarm:
Most people use the alarm on their smartphones for their early-morning wake-up call. If you’re especially lucky, you have the option to customize the sounds your phone makes to wake you up. Try something soothing like birds chirping!
Get those olfactory senses going:
What’s the scent that does it for you? For us? Eucalyptus! We won’t lie - this special trick is a spin-off of a Pinterest-hack we read once-upon-a-time.
It involved placing sprigs of Eucalyptus branches on your shower head to awaken your senses, align your chi, or whatever you want to call it. It smells really nice, but because we don’t have sprigs of Eucalyptus laying around all that often, we make do with what we’ve got: USDA Organic Eucalyptus Bare Oils.
Add a few drops of oil to a wash cloth or cotton ball and place in the shower. The steam heightens the Eucalyptus scent and helps transform your shower into a rejuvenating aromatherapy escape.
These are only a few of the methods we’re testing out to set a positive tone for the day.
Tell us about yours!
