Since this week is all about activated charcoal and its endless uses, we thought we’d tempt you with its awe-inspiring powers with this fun and simple DIY.
One of our favorite uses for activated charcoal is its amazing beautifying capabilities. When used topically (in soaps, facial masks, etc.), it gently exfoliates while removing dirt and makeup, deep-cleans, and detoxifies the skin. Even the soap’s base contains Bentonite Clay - a secret ingredient that ancient Aztecs used to draw dirt and impurities out from the complexion!
Let’s get soapy!
And, there you have it! For as simple and inexpensive as this is to re-create, it’s a no-brainer.
Feel free to swap out Tea Tree and Peppermint Bare Oils for other options, too! Frankincense and Geranium Bare Oils are both excellent for fading scars, healing/preventing acne, tightening skin, anti-aging purposes, etc. Customize it to your needs!
Have fun, and let us know how it goes!
