Using Bare Oils to Help Achieve the Perfect Manicure
We all use our hands everyday, ALL day. You might not have realized it, but your hands are involved in everything you do. They take a beating, and they truly do get taken for granted.
Depending on what you do on a daily basis, some of your hands might be pristinely manicured, or some of your hands (and nails) could be in horrible condition. Let’s face it: Getting manis and pedis every week is not always very practical or easy on the wallet, so we need another solution. And it needs to be inexpensive and simple to make.
Cuticle oil is the perfect way to not only make your nails look nicer, but it’s also great for nourishing the skin around your nails and on your hands. It’s a win-win-win.
DIY Nourishing Almond and Lemon Cuticle Oil
Almond Oil: Not only is it hypoallergenic, but its light texture allows it to easily absorb into skin. Its antioxidative properties also support the protection against UV radiation damage and help keep skin soft and supple.
Bare Oils Fractionated Coconut Oil: Our coconut oil absorbs quickly to nourish, moisturize, soothe, and soften skin. And, it’s made from organic coconuts!
Lemon Bare Oils: Helps whiten and strengthen nails while also nourishing the cuticle.
First, add 2-3 drops of Lemon Bare Oils to one of our roll-on bottles for easy and convenient application. Fill the rest of the bottle (to the top) with the almond and coconut oils.
To use, gently shake to ensure all the ingredients are combined. Move the rollerball directly across cuticles and massage into the skin as you go.
Oh! P.S. Be prepared for the amazing scent that results from the combination of lemon and almond oil. Oh. Em. Gee. You’re going to want to bottle this stuff up.
Besides improving the look of your cuticles, cuticle oil is great for weak, painful nails; swollen and inflamed skin around nails; and ridges and splitting. So, if you’ve been looking for a quick, easy way to take care of your cuticles and make them shine (literally) between manis, give this cuticle oil a try!
