Healthy eating and slimming your waistline is challenging enough without the allure of festivities, decadent family dishes from your relatives, or just cheap food while on the road. From chips and salsa, to cake and cookies, we’ve all been victim to “just one” or “diet starts Monday”.
Saying no to goodies requires effort, and we just can’t let ourselves miss out on life’s simple pleasures.
Cookies can now go back on the menu. This recipe combines two time-tested flavors -- mint and chocolate -- into something you can feel good about eating.
Mint-chocolate lovers, this one’s for you.
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 12-15 Minutes
Total Time: 20 Minutes
Cookies: 14 Total
1/2 cup paleo flour (of choice)
1/2 cup almond meal
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
3 tablespoons sugar (of choice)
4 drop Peppermint Bare Oils
Preheat oven to 350*F.
Mix all dry ingredients in bowl
Continue to add coconut oil, egg, and Bare Oils
*Batter should be slightly thick.
Shape cookies to desired form (the flatter the better).
Bake 12-15 minutes
Let cookies cool and enjoy!
